Nestled in a quiet, tranquil location 1km from the main road and 9kms from Mahamba Border Post, Phumula Guest House sits in a quiet, picturesque garden setting, complete with lapa, swimming pool and braai area. As experts at providing accommodation with warm friendly hospitality within a traditional and homely atmosphere, all guests are made to feel exceptionally welcome by lodge owners Norma Robberts and Antonet Reid.
Phumula Guest House also has a conference room, wedding venue and boma.
Suitable for short and long term accommodation for both families and smaller tourists groups, the lodge boasts self catering rooms, 28 double and 8 single en-suite rooms fully equipped with bar fridges, ceiling fans, electric blankets for colder winter nights, DSTV, free Wifi and onsite secure parking.
Hiking - feel free to explore, there are farm roads and paths to the mountain behind the guest house, and down to the dam.
Bird watching - being out in the country there are many species of birds to enjoy.
Bass fishing - the farms dam close by is a lovely bass fishing spot.
Mountain biking - farms tracks and paths are an exciting exploring option for mountain bikers.
There is a dining room is adjacent to the main house where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. (Dinners are optional)
All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities.
We have a large banquet hall that is suitable for a conference of up to 250 people. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens making for a perfect wedding venue.
